Our care

It’s about life!  Mission Hospice helps patients live life to the fullest, offering comfort and compassion for those with life-limiting illnesses. As a nonprofit organization, we put patients over profits.

Our programs together provide a continuum of care designed to serve patients – and their families – at every stage of a life-limiting illness, from community education and advance care planning, palliative care, Transitionshospice, and grief support.

We are known for our personalized, compassionate care – whether in patients’ homes, assisted living, board and care, or skilled nursing facilities. We tailor a care plan especially for each patient, with sensitivities to cultural, spiritual, and personal preferences. Working as a team, specially trained nurses, doctors, social workers, and spiritual counselors help patients and families throughout the stages of a life-limiting illness, working to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our continuum of care allows patients (and, importantly, their families) to remain with the same support team throughout their journey.

We see every day that our compassionate care gives patients and their loved ones the opportunity to cherish their time together. Donations from the community support our exceptional care, and help us serve people regardless of their medical coverage or ability to pay.
