Who We Are

Mission Hospice provides quality professional care and compassionate support for terminally ill patients and their families, while offering education about end-of-life issues for the San Mateo County community. Serving the community since 1979, we have helped thoursand of families in San Mateo County and the surrounding area.

What We Do

Mission Hospice provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual (all-inclusive) care for terminally ill patients and their families. Our emphasis is on your quality of life once curative measures are no longer effective or appropriate. We are experts in pain control and symptom management, so you can live well the remainder of your life. We offer a unique team approach, by utilizing professionals in several different medical disciplines to formulate a comprehensive, personalized plan of care for each patient facing a life-limiting challenge. We work constantly with your personal physician, who always remains in charge of your care, while working with our specially trained staff. We select our staff members for their caring qualities. Staff and consultants also train, supervise, and support volunteers so that they may provide additional support.
