SUMMARY:Family Caregiver Retreat: Painting\, meditation\, and music
DESCRIPTION:Caregiving can be physically and emotionally demanding and exhausting. To be able to care for others you must first care for yourself. \nIn the midst of caring for others\, take a break and nurture yourself. In company of other current family caregivers\, we’ll explore painting\, meditation\, and music as a means of self-care and relaxation. All supplies will be provided free of charge. \nThis offering will include: \n\nAn opening guided meditation\nMandala rock painting\nGuided group discussion\nLive music provided by the Threshold Choir\nMingling over light refreshments\n\nPlease note: This offering will take place in the backyard of Mission House\, our hospice house centrally located in Redwood City off Woodside Road.
