DESCRIPTION:Caregiving can be physically and emotionally demanding and exhausting. Additionally\, COVID-19 has resulted in many caregivers caring for someone at home\, without their pre-pandemic support networks. Whether you are taking care of a loved one or in a caregiving profession\, to be able to care for others you must first care for yourself. When your needs are acknowledged and addressed\, the person(s) you care for will benefit\, too. \nFacilitator Craig Schroeder and panelists Jenn Chan and a Mission Hospice Direct Care Volunteer (more info coming soon) are caregivers and advocates of caregivers caring for themselves. Through the exploration of firsthand experiences\, this discussion will provide realistic and actionable strategies for caregivers to address their physical and emotional well-being. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
