An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until July 21, 2021
Grieving the loss of a loved one while simultaneously dealing with the pandemic is especially challenging. This free *virtual* six-week workshop (Tuesdays, June 15 – July 20, 2-4pm) will teach core skills for developing and strengthening resilience using lecture, handouts, exercises, and discussion in a supportive environment. The skills to be taught include self-care, self-compassion, stress reduction, self-renewal, mindfulness, managing difficult emotions, identifying self-defeating thoughts, and fostering positive emotions. This workshop is open to family members of Mission Hospice patients and all bereaved individuals living in the the San Mateo and Santa Clara County area.
Please contact facilitator Isabel Stenzel, LCSW by email for more information and to sign up for the group.
