Light Up a Life Remembrance Service

On Sunday, Nov. 13, Mission Hospice & Home Care held its annual pre-holiday program to celebrate the lives of those who have died and comfort those who remember them. Sunday, The Rev. Walter Johnson, former longtime chaplain at Mills-Peninsula Health Center and Mission Hospice & Home Care, was the main speaker. The Peninsula Chapter of The Threshold Choir also performed. Mission Hospice Auxiliary's Fall Gala: Jewels & Jeans

On Saturday, October 15th at the Hyatt Hotel in Burlingame, the Mission Hospice Auxiliary hosted the fun and very successful fall gala "Jewels & Jeans." The event raised more than $120,000 to provide compassionate end-of-life care, of which $22,000 will be used to furnish two rooms in our proposed Hospice House. See the online photo album here.

Soul Stroll for Health Walk

Frances Freyberg Photography Open Studio Benefit

On the weekend of May 7 and 8, Mission Hospice development director and travel photographer Frances Freyberg held a photography open studio to benefit Mission Hospice. Proceeds from sales will support patients who cannot afford hospice care.

Peter Pan Ballet

On Saturday, April 16, Mission Hospice & Home Care, in continued collaboration with the Peninsula Ballet Theater, presented a performance of Peter Pan.

Third Annual Dinner and Dance Benefit for Mission Hospice

The Nutcracker Ballet - Saturday, Dec. 11, 7:00 p.m.

Mission Hospice & Home Care supporters attended the opening night of the Nutcracker Ballet, featuring a professional ballet company performing on the Peninsula for 40 years and a full symphony orchestra.

"Luck Be a Lady, Tonight" Fall Gala and Casino Night - Saturday, October 30, 6 p.m.

Nearly 250 people attended the Mission Hospice Auxiliary's successful Fall Gala - an elegant, 1950s-inspired dinner, dance and casino night. Proceeds from the event will support patients who cannot afford hospice care.

Benefit Cocktail Party at 750 ML Wine Lounge - Sunday, July 18, 2 to 5 p.m.

Silicon Valley Open Studio Benefit Event, Frances Freyberg Photography - Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On the weekend of May 15-16, Frances Freyberg, Mission Hospice Director of Development and travel photographer, hosted a Silicon Valley Open Studio weekend to benefit Mission Hospice. Photos from her travels to more than 50 countries were displayed, and proceeds from sales will support patients who cannot afford hospice care.

Second Annual "Night of Fun" Dinner and Dance Benefit at the Peninsula Italian American Social Club

On Friday, March 26, Mission Hospice supporters joined with members of the Peninsula Italian American Social Club for the second annual "Night of Fun" Dinner and Dance Benefit.
