Light Up a Life Remembrance ServiceOn Sunday, Nov. 13, Mission Hospice & Home Care held its annual pre-holiday program to celebrate the lives of those who have died and comfort those who remember them. Sunday, The Rev. Walter Johnson, former longtime chaplain at Mills-Peninsula Health Center and Mission Hospice & Home Care, was the main speaker. Mission Hospice Auxiliary's Fall Gala: Jewels & JeansOn Saturday, October 15th at the Hyatt Hotel in Burlingame, the Mission Hospice Auxiliary hosted the fun and very successful fall gala "Jewels & Jeans." The event raised more than $120,000 to provide compassionate end-of-life care, of which $22,000 will be used to furnish two rooms in our proposed Hospice House. See the online photo album here. Soul Stroll for Health WalkOn Saturday, May 21st at Coyote Point Park, participants walked the one-, three- or five-mile courses along the beautiful bay front path. Peter Pan BalletOn Saturday, April 16, Mission Hospice & Home Care, in continued collaboration with the Peninsula Ballet Theater, presented a performance of Peter Pan.
